Saying good-byes and farewells

Sad but necessary.
I suppose.
Keep you guys in my prayers!
It's good-byes to Cambridge,
good-byes to student days
for Daniel and Dounan.

'God be with you
Till we meet again!'

Friends at the CIO Andy's

Here's Yumi!

Young-lee and Richard. Solid. Absolutely Solid.

The three rather handsome (I'm sorry) Asian guys brightening up the place.

How could we miss out Dounan?! ;)

And here's Risa! TYG indeed for these people!

Things you can get in Tanzania for 1,000 Tanzanian Shillings

Amazingly, all of the above food-items, each cost TSh 1,000 (about GBP 0.50). The cucumbers taste real good too. A rather random post.

My third chameleon pet

So it was on the way back from Lushoto that I came across this two-horned Chameleon (Bradypodion fischeri). I always wanted one of these, and so I thanked God so much. Amazing. TYG. I'm determined *not* to abuse this one. ;)

Mum and dad and I went on this three-day trip to his mountain village called Lushoto. To see all these Tanzanian people living among these mountains (all 1,000m asl) quite detached from the rest of the world was incredible, and also I was able to spend some very relaxing time with mum and dad. A real holiday. Praise God indeed.

Tanzania, July 2005

So I was able to go to Tanzania, to see my mum and dad again, and also attend this graduation ceremony at the Calvin Theological College. I took this photo.

Daniel in the meanwhile was in Cambridge, very busy with the Summer Cambridge International Outreach, serving as the team 1 Prayer Coordinator. It was a shame that he wasn't with us during the three weeks I was in Tanzania.
