Gimchi Blue: yet another sub-blog

In Wikipedia, it says

Kimchi, also known as gimchi or kimchee is
a traditional Korean dish of fermented
chile peppers and vegetables, usually based on cabbage.
When taking photographs, South Koreans
often say the word "kimchi" in much
the same way English-speakers
would use the word "cheese".

My Blue Schmons

Schmon, leaning against
a tree in the Backs. There's
this word that keeps coming to my head
but I'm not sure I should be. Hmm

Anyways. Well impressed with that
arty shot (yes, I took it! Using the
'accentuate colour' mode.)
Maybe no-one should be this
attached to their bike?

Going for the outright obvious
in this one with Rev Yosep Kim,
Inkwon, Hanbin, and Bomi

Back to hard work with Charlotte,
Andrew, Stephen, and Josheee.

(revision should never be this fun)
TYG for all these fun memories!

Koji from Japan came to visit

Nice little break from revision, and
always great to see an old friend!

A priceless action shot.
(we're all chasing something--
presumably the ball)

I'm supposed to be studying
hard in the library but I thought
I'd take a break..
( playing football on a Saturday afternoon? or
in updating your blog? ;p Well it seems both)

Possibly my very first full-pitch
full-90-min football match to play
from start to finish. It was an exhilarating
match, with the added bonus of the joy
of winning. 3-2 to CUKS.

Tomorrow's Easter Sunday.

Seoul Plaza

With Shinae, Bomi and Dan

Inkwon and Heejin nuna
joins us. Check out the 6kg sack of rice!

Behind the counter, with the
shop runners (by special permission).
The guy was not having it.

Holding some 3kg tubs of pure red chili
pepper paste goodness

Outside. What a fun hour
we all had! (and a bit embarrassing too maybe)

Seoul Plaza is the new Korean food store
in Cambridge, just opposite St Barnabas church
on Mill Road. The Korean Prayer Group all met up
to go here for a social. It was a great memory-making
experience. And the food we cooked afterwards
was delicious too. Win win. TYG.

Chris came to visit

With Patrick and Chris
in front of the Jesus Boat House.
(shocking but true: the clock is broken)

In my room afterwards.

Patrick, Chris and Alexander,
In Logan LNR

It was good to see Chris.
After a pleasant lunch at the Burleigh's,
went for a walk along the Cam.

TYG for the sunny weather.

Colin came to visit

Self-shot in front of
Emmanuel. Hi Jack!
In Parker's Piece
Pizza Hut, helping ourselves
to the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet.

Colin came to vist from Glasgow.
It was great to see him for an afternoon.
