Term has begun

Celebrating Sukjin hyung's 27th birthday
(possibly the recipient of the best birthday
gift ever--O what happened in Commons that morning
will live long in our memories!) with Jangwon hyung.

Two of my favourite people in New Haven.

(Now a tad too common on this blog)
A breakfast shot with the HGS-Fab-Four
with Jakob, Chris, and Sukjin.

Two thumbs up!

Sub-millimeter interferometry
using Terahertz optics--that's my Special
Investigation this term; working hard with Dan

Term's begun for real, and I'm thankful to God
for all the blessings

Lab Group

Cheeky shot
with Joel, Dan, and Anthony,
holding a Galium Arsenide sample
(the stuff of low-temperature mesoscopics)

The Terahertz (THz) crew of Prober Lab!

Will work with these guys this term. TYG!

May my time here be filled with
enthused and engrossed literature reviewing,
fascinating progress-making experiments,
exhilaratingly-fun problem solvings, and
much cordial team-spirited friendships

Christmas Tour of USA & Canada 2006

Statue of Liberty
White House
Korean War Memorial, with
Lincoln Memorial in the background
Misty morning in front
of the Niagara Falls
St Joseph Cathedral in Montreal
All the healed lame people leaving
behind their tokens of appreciation and
leg supports.

TYG for a wonderful time.
Went as far up north as Quebec City.

It's a shame Daniel couldn't join us.
